In some of my spare time this week - it feels as though it’s impossible to come by - I went shopping for some baby clothes. At first I was just going to do a little window shopping but then I got in and I was walking around looking at everything and I just couldn’t help myself. Little Bean is going to be spoiled rotten with all these clothes, I just hope Finn doesn’t get too upset for not being there when I bought them.
Mercedes isn’t looking at baby clothes online.. nope.
Mercedes and I had our first appointment this past Wednesday.
After all the tests and such, we know that Mercedes is in great shape and so is the baby so far. He/she is still a little thing so we won’t know details yet. For the most part, the doctor told us a lot about what to expect and what Mercedes should and shouldn’t eat. Because of it, I might have cleaned out half of the kitchen… I’ve also been spending so much time on the internet looking up pregnancy stuff, it’s almost bordering on an obsession. Mercedes thinks I’m going crazy, but can you blame me?
Also, Mercedes has finally agreed that we can tell our parents about the big news. We’re going to do it anytime this weekend. Now that I know we’re going to tell them, I’m actually getting really nervous. I know that they won’t be all too happy about it, but at the same time I know they’ve been waiting for… as you all call it “chocolate swirl babies”. So this will be a really interesting talk.
